Performing microbial test from the water points and environmental points in the plant and identifying predominant microorganisms found in the water and environment using Bergey’s manual of determinative Bacteriology
In which oxidase test, catalase test, Gram staining, bile stability test, Coagulase test and Urase test were often utilised for bacterial determination
MacConkey agar was used as a selective growth media for the identification of Enterobacteriaceae.
All microbial test were performed as per good laboratory practice (GLP) in which aseptic/sterile techniques were used
Streak plate and spread plate techniques were used to isolate and count individual colonies
Performing QC final release test, which were enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) test
These tests were done to evaluate the sensitivity of the kits as hepatitis C from Normal Human Serum from NICD was tested
Two kits were tested the Murex HCV version 4: An enzyme immunoassay for the detection of antibodies to hepatitis C virus (HCV) in human serum or plasma and Murex HCV Ag/Ab combination: Immunoassay for the simultaneous detection of hepatitis C (HCV) core antigen and anti-HCV antibodies in human serum or plasma.
