About Me #
With a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and a master’s degree in Sociology, I have acquired
experience in different Human Sciences fields, such as: Education, Linguistics, Sociology and
Psychoanalysis. In addition, I’m fluent in four languages: English, Portuguese, French, and Spanish.
I have been working as an English teacher since 2011 along with my academic career, which is
dedicated to applied linguistics in the ethnographic analysis. I have four major experiences in either
working or studying abroad, apart from the occasional trips I’ve done throughout Europe, the USA
and Latin America, which are the following: 1) Walt Disney World International College Program,
where I’ve worked operating food carts in Hollywood Studios Theme Park 2) Universidad Nacional
Autónoma de México (UNAM), the 4th best university in Latin America, where I pursued an
interchange program 3) Université Lumière Lyon II, which is ranked in the World’s 1000 Top
Universities list, where I also pursued an interchange period 4) Centre Hospitalier Le Vinatier, the
biggest psychiatric hospital in France, where I did an internship in their research center, occasion in
which I took part in different researches related to applied linguistics and other activities, for
instance the translation of 5 educative animations from French to English. I am currently hired by
the Sichuan University of Science and Engineering, in Yibin (China)
