General information #

Our kindergarten in Guangzhou is now recruiting qualified English teachers to be a part of our close-knit community of professional teachers. We use a range of teaching methodologies and materials to ensure students grow as confident communicators. Classes focus on a communicative approach and make use of English activities, group work, projects, and English-based games, as well as storytelling and role-plays. The maximum working hours per week are 40, so teachers will still have sufficient time to explore the city that they’re assigned to and experience a unique part of China with a long history of kung fu and martial arts that is also known as a paradise for food lovers. We are committed to the student’s comprehensive and sustainable educational development. We provide students with a range of choices in addition to their academic achievements, organizing various activities. We focus not only on Northeast academics but also educate our students to develop integrity and enhance their intellectual curiosity, critical thinking skills, and international perspectives. There are opportunities for teachers to develop the curriculum and add to the educational direction of the school.

Duties & Responsibilities #

  1. Prepare and carry out lessons professionally
  2. Help edit, enhance, and create new materials for classrooms and students.
  3. Correctly record and administer progress reports for students.
  4. Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
  5. Observe and understand students’ behavior and educational needs
  6. Substitute for absent colleagues, perhaps on short notice, on- or off-site.
  7. Occasionally work outside normal business hours for marketing or other school-related events or training. (Only with advanced notice)
  8. Take part in seasonal school activities, shows, and open houses.
  9. Take initiative and be an active member of our school; take charge and be proactive.
  10. Maximum number of 40 working hours per week (Monday to Friday: 8:00-11:30, 14:30-17:00)

  12. Student ages: 2 to 6 years old.
  13. approximately five teaching hours per week.
  14. The schedule includes 5 working days per week, with weekends off.

Qualifications #

  1. Bachelor’s degree (mandatory)
  2. A TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certificate is required.
  3. Native English speakers from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, or Ireland
  4. – A minimum of 2 years of working experience is preferred, although candidates with less experience will also be considered.
  5. I possess excellent communicative and interpersonal skills, demonstrate creativity, and have the ability to construct class materials and prepare professional lessons.
  6. Enjoy being with kids and being passionate about the education and culture industries.
  7. I am able to adapt to change easily and am willing to try new things.

Package Information #

– Full-time, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday with one hour lunch break and one hour of class preparation.
– Chinese government holidays will be observed, plus three paid days off for Christmas.
– Permanent employment subject to a three-month probationary period.

About #

Located to the north of downtown Guangzhou, Baiyun District has a total area of 75.79 square kilometers and a population of 3,742,991. Its name originates from the Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area, which is the principal of the district.

Baiyun district has a variety of landforms. In its east and northeast are hilly regions, where the Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area and Maofengshan, the highest mountain of A TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certificate is required. Guangzhou is located. The region features gentle slopes, dense woods, lush fruit trees, and countless ponds and reservoirs. Dotted with beautiful lakes and hills, the scenery is very pleasant, and in its central part is located the Guanghua plain. In the west part of Baiyun District is the Pearl River water system, with the western course of the Pearl River, the Bajiang River, and the Liuxi River all flowing through this area. All sorts of watercourses are intertwined here, with irrigation and transportation systems being the most prominent. The Liuxihe River, running through this area, is the main source of drinking water for Guangzhou citizens.

Baiyun District is a transport hub, boasting the Beijing-Guangzhou electrified railway and many primary and secondary highways, such as Beijing-Zhuhai, Guangzhou-Huizhou, the North Ring, and the Huanan Expressway. Several of the national and provincial highways lead to Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Henan, Anhui, and Shanxi provinces and other cities of Guangdong Province. Metro Line 2 and the airport expressway also cross this district, forming a traffic network connecting all the areas of it.

According to Guangzhou’s planning scheme, the Baiyun New Town, located in the central area of Baiyun District, will be a key development project of north Guangzhou. The Baiyun International Exhibition Center has been completed. Future plans will prioritize the economic development of the airport area. We will also promote the development of trading and logistics centers and low-density residential buildings. High-quality domestic and international enterprises are also slated to be introduced to increase the district’s market competitiveness and to promote the optimization of the functional layout and space structure of the entire northern region.
